About the 2026 Tournament
The Welland Wizards Rose Festival & Tournament will take place June 12–14 at the Youngs Sportsplex.
The weekend kicks off Friday, June 12, with our U14 to U18 Boys and Girls divisions beginning tournament play. These divisions will continue through Saturday and Sunday, with championship matches concluding Sunday afternoon.
On Saturday, June 13, the U8 to U11 Boys divisions will compete in festival-style play, along with U12 and U13 Boys and Girls participating in tournament action.
Sunday, June 14 will feature the U8 to U11 Girls festival divisions, while U12 and U13 Boys and Girls continue and wrap up their two-day tournament competition at the Sportsplex.
Tournament Features:
- Guaranteed Games: Every team will play a minimum of three games, providing meaningful playing time and development opportunities for all athletes.
- Top-Quality Facilities: Matches are played across 4 full-sized turf fields and 2 well-maintained grass fields ensuring a high-quality playing experience at a centralized location.
- Certified Officials: All games are overseen by certified referees, guaranteeing fairness and adherence to soccer rules.
- Prizes and Awards: Trophies and medals are up for grabs for top-performing teams and players, recognizing skill, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
How to Participate
Joining the Wizards Rose Festival and Tournament is straightforward:
- Team Registration: Team coaches or managers can register their teams through our online registration portal (wizardssoccer.powerupsports.com).
- Cost:
- U8-U9: $450
- U10-U11: $500
- U12-U13: $700
- U14-U18: $750
- Fees and Deadlines: Find detailed information on registration fees, deadlines, and tournament rules on our website.
- Roster Submission: Teams must submit their final rosters by the specified deadline.
- Travel Permit: Teams travelling from outside of Niagara are welcome to take part. We will require the appropriate travel permit from your district association in advance of the tournament date.
